Sashi Nahata is an entrepreneur. She has established herself as a successful businesswoman over the years and is popularly known for her exhibition brands- Akritti Elite and Firki- The Flea Market. Sashi was married off young to a Marwari family when she was just in class 11th. For the most part of her life, she remained an obedient housewife and raised her children, Anant and Sheetal. It was only when the two had started attending school that Sashi decided to start her business. Since 2009, Sashi has been organising global exhibitions along with her husband Alok that display exclusive jewellery collections. With 15 years of sheer hard work, she has managed to earn a name for herself as a successful exhibition organiser in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, and other South Indian states. In 2020, she was awarded the Stri Shakti Award in Hyderabad for her contributions to empower women. She was also bestowed with an Excellence Award for The Best President of Lions Club of Hyderabad Petals.
