She is well known for her work in the Prasad Rayala directed Telugu film Graduate (2011) where she played the role of Pavani, an NRI who returned to India for the purpose of a job. Graduate is a youth-centric and romantic film. The first movie of Ritika in the Telugu Film Industry was the same film, Graduate. Her role in the movie specifically appealed to her as she is also an NRI. She enjoyed dancing to the songs the most. Her favorite song from the same is Ninnala Nenu Lenu owing to its melody and rhythm. Ritika enjoyed playing this particular role as it was not just about looking glamorous.
