Anumolu Sushanth popularly known as Sushanth comes from a royal lineage when it comes to the film industry. He is best recognised through his work in Telugu films. The young, talented actor is the grandson of none other than the classic actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and nephew of another equally renowned actor and superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna. His cousins Sumanth, Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil, are actors as well and A.V Subba Rao, his paternal grandfather, also belongs to the film industry. He is a producer who produces movies under the banner Prasad Art Pictures. Actor Sushanth has been born and brought up in Hyderabad. He was a student of Hyderabad Public School and Gautami Junior College. He did his studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois. He also worked as an electrical engineer at United Technologies before becoming an actor. Before entering the industry and despite being from an extremely influential and pivotal family, he completed his training as an actor at Kreating Charakters Training School with his cousin Naga Chaitanya in Mumbai. He started in the Telugu film industry in 2008 with the movie Kalidasu in which he was paired opposite another very famous actress, Tamannaah. The film was produced under the banner Sri Nag Production and was filmed at Annapurna Studios. The film even had a debutant director, G. Ravicharan Reddy. The film proved to be a success at the box office giving Sushanth a good start. Sushanth played the role of the son of an honest police officer who gets killed by an opposing rebel group. The next year, he was part of a big hit, Current, which again had a debutant director. Sushanth received a lot of praise and appreciation for his fighting as well as dancing skills for both the films. His recent film Adda didn’t do as well as his previous films, but he sure earned praises for the same. This sparkling gem has a long way to go in the industry!


Harshvardhan Rane

Harshavardhan Rane, born on 16th of December, 1983, in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, is a Telugu, film actor. He was brought up in Gwalior, along with his sister Rohini, by his doctor father and homemaker mother. He has been recognized for his roles in the movies ‘Thakita Thakita’ (2010), ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’ (2013) and ‘Anaamika’ (2014). He has also acted in two Bollywood movies that are in post-production phase, namely ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai’ and ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. As a child, he liked studying Science a lot, and he also loved receiving appreciation in the form of pastries, for his good behaviour. As confessed by himself, he has always had a sweet tooth, and his favourite sweet continues to be Pootharekulu, an Andhra sweet. He has always had an enormous love for music. His acting guru, to whom he owes his whole career, is Barry John. Rane graduated from Barry John Acting Studio and started his career with the popular Hindi show “Left Right Left”, portraying the character Rummy Gaur. Harshavardhan has also worked as a producer and actor in the critically acclaimed short film “Infinity”. He has performed in many theatrical ventures too. Although, he has acted in movies like “Avunu”, he has never been a fan of horror films. Just the reason of the film being a unique one made him take up the project. He leads a very simple life when he is not acting, and he loves his daily dose of exercise. According to him, it helps keeps his body and mind in harmony. Photography, carpentry, designing walls and playing badminton are some of his hobbies. His favourite movie is ‘Pushpak’, starring Kamal Hassan. His favourite actors are Mahesh Babu and Dhanush, and his favourite actresses are Sridevi, Tamannah and Anjali. He loves holidaying in Rishikesh. While he is going to make his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai’, he has no plans of shifting to Mumbai currently as he wants to concentrate on both, Telugu and Hindi films, equally.
