Avinash Varanasi

Avinash Varanasi is a South Indian actor who works in Telugu short films, Youtube videos and Telugu web series. He is known for the Telugu web series Expectations v/s Reality and Laughing Time. Avinash is the son of an Assistant Manager at State Bank of India Savithri Kadini and a State Bank of India Deputy Manager Varanasi Narendra Simhaji.

He hails from Tirupathi in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. He attended high school at the Cambridge High School in Tirupathi. He attended college at the S. V. College of Engineering in Tirupathi. He has an elder brother named Abhishek Varanasi who is a marine engineer. He joined the Friend’s Entertainment production group in 2013. The short movie was also the entire Friend’s Entertainment’s first production. The Telugu short film was released online on 4th February 2013.

Avinash also acted in the short film 100 Kosam written, edited and directed by Ravi Gunjam. Avinash played a main character and also wrote the dialogues for the comedy short film. The Telugu short flick was uploaded on Youtube on 22nd February 2013. Avinash gained popularity for the parody short film Man Vs Wild, which was a spoof of the Man Vs Wild show by Bear Grill on the Discovery Channel. The spoof was presented, produced, dubbed and edited by Avinash himself. BSV Saikaran shot the parody. The Telugu short flick was uploaded on Youtube on 22nd August 2013. The video has about three hundred thousand views.

Avinash also acted in the Telugu short film Nee Premakai edited, written and directed by Ravi Gunjam. The 21 minute long video was uploaded on Youtube on 29th July 2013. It received more than ten thousand views and a hundred likes in only two weeks of release. Avinash’s latest release was the short film Love Viva written and directed by Druva Kalyan. The Telugu short film was uploaded on Youtube on 27th March 2017. Avinash acted in a few web series directed by Ravi Gunjam like Expectations v/ Reality, Laughing Time and Comedy Videos.

He also acted in the web series Babu BTech directed by Saikanth Mandmula. Avinash acted in the short film Life After Love produced, written and directed by Sharan Kasturi. The romance Telugu flick premiered on 19th March 2017 at the Path Labs theatre hall in Hyderabad. Avinash’s latest project is the web series Production No 1 directed by Saikanth Mandumula and produced by Popcorn Shows production.
