A V Seshagiri Rao

One of the famous personalities of the 1970’s era, A. V. Seshagiri Rao had directed so many brilliant movies during his career as a director. Born in 1926, in Karnataka and he had decided to enter the film industry when he was at his young age. A. V. Seshagiri Rao had made almost nearly 50 movies when he was in the cinema field.

This flick is an action and romantic entertainer which is both written and directed by A. V. Seshagiri Rao himself. Seshagiri had made so many motion pictures with Raj Kumar and each and every one was a super hit and this has made him a very demanding director. A. V. Seshagiri Rao has also made one more Telugu film in 1967 casting T. L. Kantha Rao and Kanchana with the title Veera Pooja. This picture was also praised by many. His last movie was Bahadura Hennu released in 1993, with the heroine Raja Ganguly in the lead role. This film is the best example that Seshagiri Rao is one the feminists of the time. At the age of 81, he died at his home in Chennai due to a brain hemorrhage. The news was that Seshagiri Rao was all excited to go watch the movie, Shivaji starred by Rajnikanth that evening but suddenly collapsed. He was immediately taken to the hospital Appolo but there was of no use. His cremation was followed in next few days and so many celebrities, politicians, and common men had attended it.
