Arun Kumar Pujari

Arun Kumar Pujari is an assistant director, screenwriter, and film-maker in the Telugu film industry. He graduated from S. V. Degree College, Anantapura, Andhra Pradesh, in 2008 with a first grade in Biotechnology. Thereafter, he went to Vivekananda School of Post Graduate Studies, Hyderabad for an MBA in 2008. After completing his MBA in 2010, he joined the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad for a diploma in film-making. In 2010, he started working as a Medical Representative for Ranbaxy. He worked there for an year and after completing his diploma, he joined as an assistant director at She Creates Cinema in Hyderabad. He worked there for a year, beginning in 2012.

In 2015, Arun became the assistant cinematographer for PVP Cinema, Hyderabad. In the same year, he set up his own advertising and film production company, Water Studios in Hyderabad. Since then, he has been working independently in the industry. So far, he has worked for a few films in the Telugu industry. He was the assistant director in The Anushree Experiments (2013) and Rosy Theatre, Kanapur (2015). He directed the short film Mason in 2018. In the course of his career, he wrote several short films, TV commercials, corporate videos, and theatre commercials. For his work in the short film Kanneeru, Arun received the Best Concept award.
