Akhil Farook is an actor of Indian origins. He was born in Dindigul in Tamil Nadu in 1988. His birth name was M.F.M. Razak which he later changed to Akhil Farook. Akhil made his debut in Telugu Cinema with the movie Kallori in 2007 which also featured actress Tamannaah. He was nominated for an award in the Best Debut Actor category. He went on to feature in films like Vaalmiki (2009) and Sanusha (2011) but his roles were not much appreciated. He also starred opposite Samantha Prabhu in A.R. Rahman’s music video ‘Semmozhiyaana Thamizh Mozhiyaam’.
