Gagan Kokri is a Punjabi singer and businessman. He was born on April 3 1986. Kokri Kalan is his birth village. He changed his name from Sandhu to Kokri, which is connected to his birth village. His father is Santokh Singh Sandhu, and his mother is Davinder Kaur Sandhu. He completed his graduation from G.H.G. Khalsa College.
He started his career as a businessman first in Australia, where he owned a store of cuts and a buffet restaurant. He thought about giving a chance to his singing passion and debuted with the song Rab Kare in 2013. After making his debut, he got the honourable title of Rising Star of the Year at the Punjab Music Awards.
