Yogita Chavan

Yogita Chavan is an Indian Model and Actress who primarily works in the Marathi entertainment industry. She is a theatre artist and has appeared in Marathi film and television serials as well. She was born on 9 March, 1994 in Thane, Maharashtra to Dattatray Khandu Chavan and Vidyadevi Chavan into a Marathi family. She completed her schooling at S. B .M.Padwal Vidyalaya English Medium School and graduated from S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

From her childhood till college, Yogita had no dream of getting into the entertainment industry. However, she started growing fascination in and later got hooked to the glamour of fashion industry. After graduation, she decided to pursue a career in the show business and began working as a model. It was during her modelling days that she participated in the Maharashtra Times Shravan Queen 2016. She bagged the first runner up position in the pageant. She also worked under many modelling agencies and appeared on television commercials.

Her career in acting started in 2014 with theatre plays. She worked as a theatre artist for some time and appeared in plays like ‘Andhado Paato’ and ‘Raasleela.’ It was in 2018 that she got to debut in the big screen. She acted in the Marathi film Gavthi, directed by Anand Kumar Konnar in which she played the character named Gauri alongside Shrikant Patil in lead. This was a breakthrough in her career.

In 2019, she appeared in two films Mumbai is Ours and Shiva – A Young Warrior. Her big-screen performances impressed many directors and she started getting offers from television industry.
