Jadubai Jorat is a  Marathi drama-comedy TV telecasted on Zee Marathi that premiered on 24 July 2017 and ended on 31 March 2018. The show is also available on Zee5. Based on the saying that beauty is not what appears on the exterior but what is within, the show tells the story of a homemaker named Jadubai or Jui Samant who neglected herself to take care of her family. She sacrificed her appearance and interests for them. As a result, she had gained a lot of weight.

One day, she met an old friend named Mallika, who challenged her to lose weight and become fit. She tries to lose weight, but her love for food wins over her determination to lose weight every time. What happens after forms the central part of the story. There is only one season with 216 episodes, and each episode is 20-22 minutes long. It aired every week from Monday to Friday at 1 PM.
