Radhika Deshpande

Radhika Deshpande is a well-known actor and director settled in Pune.  She is known for the film Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate, directed by Girish Viswanath. Her parents were in the drama industry. She continued the legacy inherited from her parents and decided to pursue a career in drama. She acted in dramas like Durga Shali Gauri, Achat Gaavchi Ajat Maushi, Janhvi, Choice is Yours, and Tee Doghe. Furthermore, she has acted in serials like Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchii, Swarajya Rakshale Sambhaji, Lakshy, and Aai Kuthe Kaay Karte.

Apart from being an actor and director, she is also a writer and teacher. During the pandemic, she decided to utilize it productively and positively. She conducted an online games workshop for students. The tasks in the workshop included acting, role play, writing, face painting, singing, etc. These games will hone their communication, leadership, and artistic skills. She designed the workshop in such a way that they could learn lessons through theatre games.  She has composed a book of children’s play. It consists of three one-act plays written in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
