. His first wife, Narmada, was the daughter of a Gujarati businessman of Thalner, and the couple had one daughter named Latika, who died in her infancy. In 1927, he married for the second time to Shevanti, his former wife’s sister, and had five children. At five, he started taking music lessons by Shri Baba Mashelkar and traveled to Bikaner to take proper training in classical music from, Pundit Sukhdev Prasad.
He along with his friends Chintamanrao Kolhatkar and Krishanrao Kolhapure, formed Balwant Mandali. He is also a producer of 3 films like Krishanarjun Yuddha, and his plays were highly famous due to his excellent composition skills by Vaze Bua and the supporting team. He has sung for the projects like Manapaman, Punyaprabhaav, Rajsanyaas, Deshkantak, and Ram Rajya Viyog.
