Pramod Purandare was a sound designer who provided his services to both the Hindi and the Marathi film industry. The artist is best known for his work on the 2010 Marathi film ‘Harischandrachi Factory’, which is a biographical drama based on Dhundiraj Govindrao Phalke, better known as Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema. The movie was sent as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards for the Best Foreign Language Film category.
