Padmaja Phenany Joglekar is an Indian Classical Singer. She was born on 7 July 1962 in India. She did her graduation in Microbiology and then made her career in music. Padmaja started learning classical music under the direction of Jasraj. She took additional training from Pandit Ram Narayan, a master of the sarangi, and Pandit Hirdyanath Mangeshkar, a music director. She has also created albums of Marathi ghazals with titles Hey Gagana and He Sparsha Chandanyanche.
She has sung three albums named Hee Shubhra Phulanchi Jwala, Rang Bawara Shravan, and Ghar Nachale Nachela which consist of poems written by famous Poets. She has also tuned albums of poems written by Prime Minister Shri V P Singh. She Joglekar has given numerous concerts in the UK, US, Canada, Singapore, and the UAE, as well as at conferences throughout India, including the Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal. She was awarded with Padma Shri in 2001.
