Aishwarya Sonar

Aishwarya Sonar is an Indian actress, producer, director and author, whose extensive career had influenced both Marathi and Telugu film industries. She had worked in Hollywood as well. She was born in 1992 and was raised in Pune, Maharashtra. She completed her graduation with a Business Administration major and started honing her acting skills by taking film classes while studying at the UCLA. Her most popular work is her role as Preeti in the Marathi movie “Kya Re Rascalaa” in 2017. Earlier to this milestone of hers, she had already became fan favourite through Marathi soap operas and dramas.

She contributed as the assistant director with Mapuskar for the Marathi movie “Ventilator” in 2016 which won National Awards for best direction and audiography. Her other notable works in the Indian Entertainment Industry include her roles as Gauri in “Nitishastra”(2018), as Tiffany in the short film “Shift”(2020), as Alya in “Through Her Glasses”(2021), as Ayesha in “Ayesha”(2021) and as Nethra Reddy in “Amriki Pandit”(2021).
