Born on 15th September 1983 in Satara, Maharashtra, Sanyog Mohite is an Indian filmmaker. He completed his schooling in his hometown and pursued a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering followed by a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pune. He then made a documentary film for the Network of Entrepreneurs in 2008, which was well appreciated. After receiving appreciation for his documentary, he decided to take filmmaking seriously and went on to make more short films. His first short film was called Do You? And has an address by Mr. Ashutosh Gowarikar. Do You? Made in 2008 was made on a budget of mere 150 rupees.

The film went on to several international film festivals and won the award for best film at Ecofest in 2010. He has made several short films since then. Some of them are Now You? (2010), Its You? (2011), Cage (2012), and For You (2014). His recent film Armour made in 2016 is associated with the Indian Army and was released by the Indian Army on their official channels. He also made a documentary on Bhimthadi women’s empowerment. Films he made for Krishi Vigyan Kendra were specially screened for Hon. President of India Shri. Pranab Mukherji.
