Kshitish Date

Kshitish Date is a Marathi director, producer, and actor. He works in television serials and also films. On October 18, Kshitish Date was born in Pune, Maharashtra. Rohini Date is Kshitish Date's mother. Girish Date, his father, is a professor at Pune's Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT). On April 25, 2021, he married Rucha Apte. Only a few guests were invited to their wedding because of COVID-19 restrictions, which resulted in a small and private ceremony. Rucha is also a Marathi actress, well known for her appearance in the TV show 'Tujhyat Jeev Rangla.' Before getting married, they dated for a long time. 

He attended the Pandit Rao Aghase School in Pune, Maharashtra. He then went to Sir Parshurambhau College, Pune, Maharashtra. Later, Kshitish did his postgraduate degree in Visual Communication.

Before entering the acting industry, he worked in local stage plays and theatre shows. He debuted on television in 'Bun Maska' (2016) as Chumbak. He debuted in the film industry in 2017 with 'Zindagi Virat.' Kshitish directed the play "Item" in 2017. For this play, he won the Best Play award at the 13 Mahindra Excellence Theatre Awards 2018. Kshitish Date has acted in a few short films such as 'Dhuka,' 'Buddha Smiled!', and 'Bappache Gharich Visarjan Surakshit Visarjan.'
