Jonathan Augustin is a filmmaker. He is a writer-director. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is also a producer. He found a company, called Caroline Pictures. He gained his education in Bournemouth, England. He has been working in the film productions since the age of 16. He first began his career as an assistant director. His first work was with an AD Film production company. He worked on over 20 commercials there. He started as a director with the film The Lift Boy which was released in 2019. The movie was released in all over India as well as UAE and Taiwan. The movie was acquired by Channel 4 in UK, Etisalat, and Chili. The movie was also released in theatres across Poland. The film was remade in Kannada as well. He has also worked in Life is Beautiful and Madappally United. In 2015, he worked in the movie Purgatory.
