Mahendra Patil is an Indian script-writer, actor ad also an assistant director originating from Maharahtra. His career began as an assistant director and later shifted to writing. He started writing plays initially and later took to scriptwriting. Some of his works include- Pratisaad: The Response (2010), Million Dollar Club (2016) and Gadbad Gondhal (2018). Mahendra Patil is also renowned for organizing the 'Marathi Chitrapat Mahotsav', also called Ambarnath Film Festival since 2015. He also has significant contributions to Marathi Cinema, some of which are- Aata Vel Zaali (2022), Nashibvaan (2019), Shyamchi Shala (2017), and many more.
