Vishakha Joshi Gaikwad

Vishakha Joshi Gaikwad is a well-known name in the Marathi Film Industry. The Marathi producer is known for movies like Thackeray, Kaagar, Aapla Manus, among others. She was then an intern with Neena Raut Films. Later she worked as an executive producer with Zee Marathi and launched popular shows like Nanda Saukhyabhare, Majhya Navryachi Bayko, Maze Pati Saubhagyawati. After that, her stint with Viacom 18 Media comprised her role as a Marathi film producer and creative producer for Tipping Point in the Hindi digital sphere. 

Currently, the talented producer works with Netflix India as a creative producer, her recent release being Ray, where she acts as the supervising producer. Before starting her career, Vishakha did her bachelor’s in arts from Nagpur University. She topped in the subjects Psychology and History for three years in a row. She pursued a Master's from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune, specializing in audiovisual production. Not only that, Joshi was made the head of the placement cell. The producer was pretty active outside of her studies too. While studying at Symbiosis, she also helmed the University’s Women’s Basketball Team. And has a national winner (basketball) certificate to her credit. The beautiful producer excelled at academics, even at school. In addition to that, she owns a certificate of merit in the National Cadet Corps.
