Pranit Hatte is the first transgender television actress, also known by the name Ganga. Her hometown is in Goa, and she lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has a brother, Mahadcha Subhash Jadhav. She went to Michael High School and Ramnarain Ruia College for her studies. She became the first transgender host of a Marathi TV show, Yuva Dancing Queen. She is also known for her work in the short films Wajood (2017), where she got the role of a Young Hijra and Wig (2019) as Ganga. She was a nominee in the Best Newcomer Actor category for his work in Wajood at the International Online Web Fest of 2017.
