Satish Dubhashi was an Indian actor and theatre artist who worked predominantly in the Marathi film industry and Marathi language theatre. The veteran Marathi playwright and humorist P. L. Deshpande was Satish Dubhashi's maternal cousin. Satish Dubhashi played the role of Natsamrat in the famous Marathi play- Natsamrat by the playwright Kusumagraj. Dubhashi was also in the 70's famous theatrical play- Ti Phulrani, written by P. L. Deshpande. Dubhashi's iconic role in cinema was of D'Costa in the Marathi language political drama film- Sinahsan, which was released in 1979 and directed by Jabbar Patel. Some of Satish Dubhashi's other films include the English movie- Birbal My Brother (1973), Bala Gau Kashi Angai, and Chandoba Chandoba Bhanglas Ka.
