Manjunath Vijayan

Manjunath Vijayan is a known artist of South India. He is a singer and music director known for many songs and compositions. Manjunath Vijayan shared his childhood memories with his twin brother, Vijayan. It is because of this reason, he kept the name of his demised brother with his name, i.e., Manjunath Vijayan. Manjunath is a married man and have an extended family including son, Manoj K. Jayanai. Manjunath's son, Manoj K. Jayanai, is a known South actor. None of Manjunath's children are involved in the singing profession. Manjunath's family is residing in Kottayam Wayala in Kerala, India. Manjunath's wife's name is Girija. Girija is a singer and music teacher. The twin brothers Manjunath and Vijayan sang for around 30 years together. After the death of his twin brother, Jayan, Manjunath sang for around 14 years alone. Mr Manjunath sang Ayyappa devotional songs at Sabarimala.

The first film for which Manjunath worked as a music director was Cleopatra. He also gave music to many other Malayalam films like Dure and Kupipivala. He had a small role in the film Kupipivala. Mr Manjunath had a college degree in Hotel Management. Since cooking was popular in those days, singing was his passion. Even after having a degree in Hotel Management, he managed to study classical music. He studied music for seven years at Chennai Kalapeeth. Mr Manjunath also worked as a recording artist for a devotional cassette called 'Divya Vaidhan'. It was his first cassette before the time of albums. Mr Manjunath is a stage performer, devotional singer, music composer, vocal musician, and teacher. He has been in the music industry for the past 23 years
