Priya Nambiar

Priya Nambiar was a Malayalam actress famous for her small yet significant role in the Malayalam movie Vettam, directed by Priyadarshan, starring actor Dileep, playing the role of his sister, Indu. She was studying in the 10th standard when she acted in this film. She was chosen for this by the recommendation of megastar Mohanlal. After this movie, she quit acting as she realized the importance of her education and focused on her education. Before her first movie, she also acted in a serial named Kadhanayika. After Vettam, she starred in another film, Dracula, directed by Vinayan. Her main hobby is traveling. Her first memorable trip was to Kailash Mansarovar, and she has traveled to many places as she believes traveling gives a person a lot of life experiences.

She was born in the Wayanad district of Kerala and lived there until she turned 15. She then settled in Ernakulam and moved to Bangalore, to Chennai, and then to Indore, and her main focus during all these years was to complete her education. She is married and said in her recent live video that her husband, mother, and brother support her if she wants to return to her acting field. She now works for an Australian Company and runs a business with her brother. She also practices Bharatanatyam - a classical dance.
