Kim Tae-Ri is a South Korean actress born on 24 April 1990 in Seoul, South Korea. She did her graduation from Kyung Hee University in Journalism. She has been active in the Korean entertainment industry since 2014 and is currently under the Management of MMM.

After completing college, Kim Tae-Ri worked as a member of a technical crew. In 2012, she was cast as a standby in Spoonface Steinberg. Finally, in 2016, Kim Tae-Ri made her feature film debut in Park Chan-Wook's, The Handmaiden. In 2017, she worked in a political thriller called 1987: When the Day Comes. The next year, she acted in a Korean film adaptation of Little Forest, which became a mega-hit. Her recent works are Space Sweepers (2021) as Captain Jang, Alien, and Alien Part 2.

She has worked in the television series  Entourage (2016), Mr. Sunshine (2018) as Go Ae-Shin, and Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2021) as Na Hee-Do. She has received the APAN Star Awards (2018) for Best New Actress, Asia Artist Awards (2017) for Best Entertainer, and the Asian Film Awards (2017) for Best Newcomer.
