Kim Hye-ok is an actress of South Korean origin. She was born on 9th May in the year 1958 in Seoul. She holds a Master’s degree in journalism from Chung – Ang University. She went to the Seoul Institute of Arts to study Theatre and Film. She entered the film industry in 1980 with a television series - Lifetime in the Country. She has worked extensively in the television industry. Some of her works include Always Blue Hearts (1995), Lotus Flower Fairy (2004), Time and Tears (1992), Old Miss Diary (2004), Fourth Republic (1995), Wolf (2006), Salt Doll (2007), Likeable or Not (2007), Common Single (2006), White Lie (2008), Bad Guy (2010), Royal Family (2010), Scent of a Woman (2011), My Golden Life (2012), Doctor Stranger (2014), Two Weeks (2013), Oh My Baby (2020) and many more.

Her films include Spring Breeze (2003), Theresa’s Lover ((1991), My Little Bride (2004), My Dear Enemy (2008), Kill Me (2009), My Tutor Friend (2003), Sunny (2011), Twilight Gangsters (2010), The Table (2016), One Day Click to look into! >> Read More... (2017) and Sunny (2011) among others. She has been awarded the Golden Acting Award by MBC Drama Awards in 2014 for her work in Jang Bo-ri is Here!. In 2006, she received the Special Acting Award (Veteran Actress) at MBC Drama Awards for Over The Rainbow. She was awarded at the 47th Thessaloniki International Film Festival the Best Actress Award for Family Ties.
