Korean Actor Kang Shin-Il

Kang Shin-il is a South Korean actor who was born on November 26, 1960. Kang earned a degree in electronic engineering from Kyung Hee University. Still, he quickly abandoned his studies to spend most of his time in Daehangno, Seoul's theatrical area, where he founded the Testimony group, which played at smaller venues. He made his acting debut in Chilsu and Mansu in 1985 and quickly rose to prominence as a theatre actor in plays such as Kimchigook Goes Crazy and Chronicles of Han. He made his film debut in the 1988 film adaptation of Chilsu and Mansu. He went on to become a prolific supporting actor in Korean cinema and television (most notably in Kang Woo-Public suk's Enemy franchise) while continuing to perform in theatre. Kang was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2007, but he returned to acting after recuperating from surgery. I Am Home, Black Money, I Want to See Your Parents' Face, Duck Town, Roman Holiday, Pandora, Police University, Soul Mechanic, Nobody Knows, and Fatal Promise are his other films and drama series.
