Choi Min-yong

Choi Min-Yong is a South Korean actor who was born on the 6th of June, 1977, in Seoul, South Korea. He debuted as an actor in the 1996 South Korean TV series titled ‘New Generation Reports: Adults Don’t Know’, on the KBS1 Network. He has gone on to work on many TV series; ‘Nonstop 3’, ‘Not Alone, ‘Finding Love’, etc. but he is most notably known for his performance in the 2006 sitcom ‘High Kick!’ Which aired on the MBC network. He has also worked in the 2011 movie titled ‘Life Is Peachy’, in which he portrayed the role of ‘Detective Min-Yong’. He won three awards throughout his career.

He was awarded the ‘Excellence Award, Actor in a comedy/sitcom’ for his work in ‘Nonstop 3’, at the 2nd MBC Entertainment Awards in the year 2002. In 2007, he was also awarded ‘Best Kiss’ at the 1st Mnet 20's Choice Awards and ‘Popularity Award, Actor in a Comedy/Sitcom’ at the 7th MBC Entertainment Awards for his work in ‘High Kick!’.
