Swapnil Kumawat

Swapnil Kumawat is an Indian writer, director, and producer who predominantly works in the Bollywood film industry. He was born and raised in the city of Pune in Maharashtra. Swapnil Kumawat completed his schooling at a Gurukul in Pune. After that, he pursued his bachelor’s degree in Art from the Government School of Arts with a specialization in Fine Arts. Swapnil Kumawat has also studied at institutions such as C- DAC, Dr. BAMU in Aurangabad, and the University of Pune.

He had been interested in films since he was a child and was determined to make a career from his dreams. Swapnil Kumawat wrote and directed his second film ‘Bhagaude’ shortly after in 2022. As a producer, he has worked on films such as ‘Paanha’ (2021) and ‘Bhagaude’ (2022).

For a while, Swapnil Kumawat worked with the company Roadside Entertainment as a writer, director and producer. Besides this Swapnil Kumawat is an entrepreneur and has started the companies Erised Unlimited and Vanarsena, which is an artists’ club that was formed in 2015. Swapnil Kumawat is also the co-owner and director of The Big World Studios, which is an advertising agency that specializes in media productions, motion graphics, corporate films, and explainer videos.

They handle everything from casting and pre-production requirements to editing, post-production, animation, VFX, AR, and VR. Swapnil Kumawat is also an artist and specializes in miniature art. It is an art form that he has been passionate about from a young age. To him, Miniature art is about connecting with his childhood and giving shape to his imagination. The Big World Studios is also known for its production of miniature art for Films, Manufacturing Industries, Museums/ theme parks, and Architectural firms.
