(2022). He hails from Delhi and lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Shashwat Rai got his Bachelor’s in Hindi Language and Literature from Delhi University in 2015 and went on to pursue his masters in Hindi Language and Literature from Delhi University in 2017.
He also studied screenplay writing for television shows at the prestigious film institute, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Shashwat Rai started working as an associate writer under the famous television writer, Mr. Vinod Rangnath for a historical romance television serial. Over the years, he has worked as a screenplay writer for many television serials in multiple languages like Ishq Subhanallah (2018), Chocolate (2019), Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 (2020), Kuchh Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi (2021), and many more. Apart from working as a screenplay writer, Shashwant Rai also works as a content writer in the company, Beyond Dreams Entertainment Private Limited since 2018.
