Naman Ramachandran is a famous Indian writer and executive. He was born and brought up in Thrissur, Kerala, India but later he moved to Bangalore, Karnataka. Naman Ramachandran studied MSC in media management at the University of Stirling. In the beginning, he started his career as a critic, however, after some time he moved on to producing television shows, advertisements and music videos for various big-name TV channels. After some time, he became a producer at CNBC TV18 and in the year of 1996, he became a senior producer at HBO Asia and worked for almost three years. For almost two years, he worked as a national manager in Imagine Asia project manager under the British Film Institute.
Subsequently, he joined the British Film Institute (BFI) as a national project manager but later worked as a film critic there. Eventually, he became an author under Lights Camera Masala (Making Movies in Mumbai). In the year of 2009, he joined Variety as a freelance Asia correspondent in London, England, United Kingdom, although, after some time he became an Indian correspondent and worked in various cover films and TV news of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Some of his notable works include Brahman Naman (2016), BMW: Bombay's Most Wanted (2012), and Opium Royale (2005) as a writer.
