Dattaram Maruti Mirasdar is an Indian writer and narrator who has worked in the Marathi language film industry. He was born on April 14, 1927, and died on October 2, 2021, in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In 1952, he received his Master's in arts degree from Sir Parashurambhau College in Pune and started working as a teacher. In 1961, he was appointed a Marathi professor at a college in Pune. He was known for his notable books like Majhya Bapachi Pend (1957), Bhutancha Janma (1958), Hubehub (1960), Sutti Ani Itar Ekankika (1964), Mirasdari (1966), Makadmeva (1970), Chakatya (1973), Hasnaval (1975), Chutakyanchya Goshti (1976), Gudagulya (1977), Mi Ladachi Maina (1979), Tumachi (1979), Bhokarwadichya Goshti (1983), and Goshtich Goshti (1993), Khade Ani Orakhade (1997).
Mirasdar served as the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad's acting president in Pune. He served as the 71st Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan's president in Parli, Maharashtra, in 1998. He was awarded the Vinda Karandikar Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar in 2015 by the Maharashtra government's department of Marathi. He received the first-ever Sahityaseva Krutadnyata Puraskar in 2018.
