Bharati Jagdish

Bharati Jagdish is an Indian writer, journalist, podcast presenter and radio personality based in Singapore. Her career started in the media field and has been in the industry for over 20 years. She is the Director of Communication at PeopleSearch, a part of HRnet Group, where she amplifies the value of elevating careers and empowers businesses in the executive search space through leadership, content creation and strategic outreach programmes. She was a news anchor at the 938LIVE channel for their morning drive-time show. Her delivery reached the peak of listeners and made it the signature program of the channel. She was the show host for the Talkback show, the most popular phone show on English Talk Radio channel.

She was also a digital journalist and writer at the Channel NewsAsia.com blog page. Her articles casually made the top 5 most-read list every time. She was also a Business Development Specialist at Mount Vernon Sanctuary, a home-grown SME and one of the top funeral service providers in Singapore. She was the Adjunct Lecturer in Journalism from 2010-2012 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic College. She is an Associate Coach at LHH.

She uses her skills to teach media communication, crisis communication, media training, online content creation, and marketing to help youngsters shape their confidence and careers. She won an award in Host and Consultancy for Saga, the first long-form narrative podcast series of Singapore. She won the Silver Award for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Limited Series & Specials at The Signal Awards in 2023, Best News Presenter and Most Popular Radio Presenter at 938LIVE by Mediacorp in 2006, 2007, 2011, 2013, and 2018. She was the finalist for Excellence in Opinion Writing by the Society of Publishers Asia (SOPA) in 2018. She had the honour of being the live English commentator for many National Day Parades. She is highly recognised for her work and personal qualifications sought by many government agencies and global corporations. Besides being a journalist, anchor and speaker, she is a strategist, coach, and consultant.
