Antim Panghal is a well-known Indian woman wrestler. She was born on 31 August 2004 in Bhagana village of Hisar District, Haryana. Antim was encouraged by her sister Sarita, a National level Kabaddi player who took her to see a wrestling program. Later, she decided to become a wrestler. Her father helped his children by relocating their house near Mahavir Stadium in Hisar City, where she used to practice.
Antim represented India in various Championship internationally and won medals such as bronze in the 2021 World Cadets Championship(U 17), Budapest, Gold in the 2022 World Junior Championship(U 20), Sofia, and 2023 World Junior Championship (U 20), Amman. She also won Silver in the 2022 Asian U23 Championship, Bishkek, and the 2023 Asian Championship, Astana. In the 2022 Asian Games, Chanu won the bronze medal. In the 2023 World Championship, Belgrade, she clinched a bronze medal. She played all the games in the category of 53kg. Antim was honored with the Arjuna Award from the government of India for her contribution to sports in 2023. She also received UWW Awards for Women Rising Star of the Year 2023.
