Sameer Kulavoor is a visual artist, graphic designer, and illustrator. He began his work while still a student at Sydenham College in Mumbai. He developed a strong interest in drawing and graphic design and began working as a freelance designer. In 2001-2005, he maintained his art while studying from the JJ Institute of Arts. In 2005, he received his bachelor's degree in Fine art.
He directed the "Disconnected" music video for Vishal Dadlani Vishal Dadlani mostly known by duo name Vishal She >> Read More... . In 2010, Sameer released a new song called "Love Drug Climb Down." Later, he worked as a motion graphics and illustrator freelancer for MTV India, Channel V, and an Indian music channel. In addition, he is the founder of Bombay Duck Design Studio.
It was located at Mazgaon. Zeenat Kulavoor , an Urdu, Arabic typographer and graphic artist, is currently run by her. Sameer also has self-published art books such as Ghoda Cycle Project in 2012, Side Walks & Coffeeshop in 2009, Blued & Oh flip in 2013. In 2012, Sameer did collaborated with Paul Smith , a UK design studio , on a range of T-shirts celebrating Indian cycling culture. In 2018, he had his first solo painting display at Tarq Gallery, titled "A Man of the Crowd." He was also featured in the Netflix documentary " The Creative Indians The Creative Indians is a Hindi TV show telecasted >> Read More... " in 2017.
