Urfi Javed

Urfi Javed is a model and television actress and works predominantly in Hindi tv serials. She belongs to Lucknow, was born and brought up there. Urfi went to City Montessori School and completed her college at Amity University and got her Mass Communication degree and began a career in the world of fashion as a fashion designer in Delhi.

Shortly after that, she shifted to Mumbai to pursue a profession in the movie industry. The story revolves around the life of Durga, a smalltown girl in Haryana and her relationship with her father, who toils as hard as he can, to be able to give his daughter the education that she deserves. Urfi played the role of the childhood buddy of one of the pivotal characters of the plot, Sanjay Prince. Apart from Meri Durga, Urfi worked in the well known serial Yeh Hai Aashiqui, an Indian serial which aired on Bindass channel in 2013.

Though her role was small, she acted it to the best of her potential. She also worked in the comedy and drama serial Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania which broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television. She played the role of Avni Pant in the serial, the sister of the lead character Abhishek Pant, portrayed by Priyanshu Arora.
