Uppekha Jain

"Uppekha Jain is a Canadian Actress, was former Miss India-Worldwide, Choreographer, and Spoken-word Artist in both Canadian and Indian entertainment industries. She was born on the 24th of March 1986 in Jammu, India but later her parent’s migrated to Toronto, Canada. She grew up in Toronto and also studied over there. She was also supported by her parents to explore arts. That’s how she accomplished Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance forms from Toronto’s finest Sampradaya Dance Academy. She performed on the “Revealed By Fire Tour” (2011-2012).

Uppekha pursued her Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Then she worked as an Associate Brand Manager of Chocolate for Cadbury Adams Canada. While working over there, she auditioned for a role in “Love Guru,” and she was a dancer in the film. Later she won her Miss India Worldwide title in 2008 in South Africa. Later she quit her job and decided to move to Mumbai, to fulfil her dreams. While Uppekha was in Mumbai, she worked in various theatres. And she also worked for many TV commercials and TV serials. She worked for the serial “Saath Nibhana Saathiya” in which she played Monica Modi. She became famous for this role. She worked in the films “Kaali Maa” (2007), “Moods of Crime” (2015), “Luv Ka The End” (2014), and a few more. "
