Sudha Shivpuri was born on 17th July 1937 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. She was a very popular Bollywood Television and movie actress. Her acting was simply versatile, and she just always did performance oriented roles.

Her wedding with Om Shivpuri happened in 1968. She did her schooling in Rajasthan, and she took up the career of acting at a very earlier phase of her life. She got into acting during her class eight and made it on account of her interest in acting. Her spouse and she had a theater of their own.

They worked out many projects that turned up so successfully. The couple got shifted to Mumbai in the year 1974 when her husband got many projects from Mumbai. She resumed back to the Television world as playing grandmother's role. It was a comeback for her, and people cherished her presence in TV. Her comeback took place in the year 2000. She also made her comeback to the big screen with the movie Pinjar in the year 2003.

The movie was apparently based on a novel. It was a huge delight for fans to see her acting after an immense break. She had a son namely Vineet, and a daughter namely Ritu. She was passed away on May 2015 on account of a severe heart attack. She was a great personality, and role model for all the new coming actresses. She received many awards for her lovely acting.
