Sonal Pendse

Sonal Pendse is an Indian TV serial actress, who has starred in Hindi Daily Soaps. She is known mainly for her works in the Hindi TV serial Kittu Sabb Jaanti Hai and in a teen drama Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar, which aired on Star Plus. Her acting career took a kick-start with Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar, which was a series based on college life and revolves around three main characters, one of them being Ash, which was being played by Pendse. In the serial, Ash is in love with adi and comes from a rich family, but Adi is mad after this girl Nikki, and all of Ash's energy goes into breaking up the relationship between the latter two. Her role in this serial gave her career a hike.

She also got a lead role in the comedy-drama Hindi daily soap Kittu Sabb Jaanti Hai, which aired from November 2005, till October 2006. In Kitty Sabb Jaanti Hai, Pendse played the lead negative role of a girl who worked for a news channel. In this serial, she is in love with a guy who is in love with some other girl and she keeps badmouthing the girl so as to get the guy on her side.

Her best performance so far has been that in Rihayee on Zee TV, where she played the role of a decent Indian woman. Sonal Pendse has never been for too much of skin show. In the serial Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar, her wardrobe didn't include mini-skirts and short tops but was limited to jeans and T-shirts, even though she played a college girl in the serial.

She made the news when she refused to wear a swimsuit in a particular scene in the serial Saat Phere. She is a go-getter and her life has been full of surprises, as she started from art and music and to her surprise, was offered a lead role in her first serial Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar. It was all unexpected and unplanned for her to get a role in a Hindi serial. According to her, everything in her life comes up suddenly, and she has always been ready to take up impressive offers. Pendse has a dog named Candy, and she likes spending her leisure time with family and friends.
