Palak Jain is an Indian model and television actress, born on April 1, 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and belongs to the upper middle class family. She studied at St. Joseph School in Mumbai and pursue Bachelor in Mass Media at the Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management in Mumbai. Her father is Santosh Jain who is into Iron and Steel Business in Mumbai.
She started her acting and modeling career when she was just 6-years old. She has done various television commercials and uncredited cast member of some films when she was a child. In 2003, she played as Aditi in thriller drama series,

on STAR Plus. Later, she was starred on her television debut, Sunaina – Mera Sapna Sach Hua on Pogo TV channel. She bagged the main lead role as Sunaina Vijay Mathur, a usual teenager who has an extra-ordinary ability. In 2010, Palak played as Sajni on NDTV Imagine’s Do Hanson Ka Jodaa where she portrays an overweight character. She gained more fame after portraying the role of Saibai Bhosle, the wife of Shivaji(played by
) in the historical drama series,
on Colors TV. Then, she made a cameo appearance in the crime-based series, Crime Patrol on Sony TV. Her next major role on television was from the teen sitcom,
The Buddy Project
on Channel V India. She played as the female protagonist of the show and essayed the pivotal role as Panchi Rastogi. After her exit from The Buddy Project, Palak took a short break from acting to prepare for her final exams in UPG. This year, she played as Suhani Nachiket Khanna in Ekta Kapoor’s Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar on Sony TV.
Palak also donned supporting roles as a child artist in Bollywood films like Tehzeeb in 2003 and Paheli in 2005, where she played as the younger sister of Kishanlal (played by Shahrukh Khan). She also played as the young Kajal (played by
) in the Bollywood romantic film, Barsaat: A Sublime Love Story in the same year. She also donned the films, Kachchi Sadak and ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!’ in 2006.
Palak plans to study filmmaking as she continues her acting career. She is just waiting for better roles to come her way. The actress is also a big fan of Shahrukh Khan and she was happy to be part of his film in Paheli.
