Monica was married to Assistant Director Satyaprakash Singh or most commonly known as Raj Singh Raj Singh was seen in Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV pla >> Read More... . The two met in a shooting in year 2009. They fell in love and got married in 2010. But Monica and Raj stayed in their respective houses because she did not inform her family that she got married. The two shared the same dream of having their own film production house. However, after some time, the two had their own personal issues about their marriage. Also, Monica stated that her husband is harassing her and demanded for money. She was also threatened that Raj will make their marriage public if she declines his demand. She was forced to give a total of Rs 8.60 lakh and demanded for more. She lodged a complaint against his husband after the latter hacked her Facebook account and posted vulgar materials and videos of Monica. 

This year, Monica was roped in to play the role of Victoria Bai in the fictional comedy series, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai on SAB TV. She also appeared in the television series, Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati on Sahara One, where she played the role of Sharmila.
