Deeksha Sonalkar, a beautiful, young and a very talented Indian television model, a dancer and an actress who made her debut with the television show Bani - Ishq Da Kalma. Yes, you heard it right, Deeksha Sonalkar has 17 years of training in Indian Classical dance, apart from different dance forms like Odissi, Jazz, Ballet and the contemporary dance forms well known dance training institute Danceworx located in Mumbai. Deeksha was overlooked by the very famous choreographer , and thus she came into this glamour world of Indian television industry.

Born and grown up in Mumbai, Maharashtra has completed her graduation in BMM - Bachelors of Mass Media from R. D. National College, Mumbai.

Actress Deeksha Sonalkar got her much awaited fame from her first television show premiered on Colors TV and telecast on weekdays, from Monday to Friday Bani - Ishq DA Kalma, which is an Indian television series that goes around the lifestyle and the journey of two young sister's Bani and Jassi grown up in Sikh family, initially released on 18th March, 2013 with almost 317 episodes. In this serial Deeksha Sonalkar played the role of Jassi, Bani's younger sister.

Before making her pipeline in the Indian television series, Deeksha has acted in a number of theater groups. In future, actress Deeksha Sonalkar will be seen in Director Kut's upcoming show Itni Si Khushi broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television.
