Aashna Bhalla is a DelhiĀ based actress who started her acting career after her higher education and a short spell in the modeling industry. The acting was an entirely new field of activity for her and it took some time before she fully got adapted to it.

Her career in acting consists only of one major work, which is a TV series on Channel V named ā€˜P.S. I Hate Youā€™. The series features two sisters, one of them played by the experienced actress Chandni Bhagwanani Chandni Bhagwanani is a cute and a fabulous Indian >> Read More... , who was the lead actress in ā€˜Jhalli Anjaliā€™. Aashna appears as the second sister, and she was lucky to have the love and guidance of Chandni, as crew members were in fact convinced that the duo were actually sisters in real life. Chandni plays the role of a reserved, hockey player, while Aashna acts as a completely open-hearted, carefree, young adult, who speaks and acts her mind, irrespective of the place or the time she is in. The series follows the story of the two sisters, their emotional encounters, the relationship that they share between them, and also the problems arising between them due to their completely opposite personalities. The series falls into an experimental genre since the plot or its theme was not one that was generally seen on TV for an average viewer, at the time of its release. However, the different treatment that was handed in the work, along with the commitment of the cast and crew, led to wide acceptance of the work and it reached huge popularity among general household viewers within a short period of time. Acting as a radical, energetic, hyperactive character was very difficult for Aashna, since she was completely new to the field of acting and lacked a bit in terms of self-confidence when faced with the camera. But, her shyness and nervousness were soon overcome after a few shots with Chandni, who talked to her to make her completely at ease. Soon, Aashna could mingle with other characters on the set and she could deliver her very best in terms of acting.

Aashna received special appreciation from the scriptwriters and directors who commented that since she adapted quickly to the set and delivered what the script demanded of her, the character that she portrayed came to life on screen.

Though Aashna has not acted in any works since ā€˜P.S I Hate Youā€™, she is still remembered by her fans.
