Varun Vijay Sharma is an Indian television actor from Delhi. He is known majorly for his roles in daily soap Bhagyalaxmi as AnshumanPrajapati and SasuralSimarka as Piyush Bhardwaj. He has completed his studies in mass communication from theAsian Academy of Film and Television from Marwah Institute, Noida. He has done modeling and theatre too. His acting career started by playing a lead role in the show Neem Neem Shahad Shahad which used to air on the channel Sahara One. After which he grabbed small cameos in some famous Indiantv serials like Balika Vadhu, Doli Armaanon Ki, and Saraswatichandra.

He then played an anti-hero role in the show, SaddaHaq, as the character Sameer which aired on Channel V. Then in the year 2015; he signed to play the role of Anshumaan Prajapati for the show Bhagyalaxmi. Then, in the next year 2016, he played another lead role in the tv show Udaan as Aditya Rawat. The very same year he, also made an appearance as Piyush Bhardwaj, who was Simar’s son in one of India’s longest-running tv shows Sasural SimarKa.
