His interest in film making was from childhood so he thought of opting film making as his career. Though he has done acting in some shows. He is co-founder of White Wall screenings. His journey of making White Wall starts when he was looking for place in Mumbai where he can showcase his film. Then his some friends who also make short films thought of coming together and put their 3 short films together.

They named it ‘Sunday shots’ and then Balraj, co founder of White Wall thought it should be a regular event. And that’s how this production starts. Pratik Kothari’s idea is to connect local talent to local audience & local producers so they made community white wall. His favorite short film is ‘sehahi’ and his favorite web series are permanent roommates & pitchers. He has done ‘hell o hello’ short film in 2016 under mentorship of Shyam Benegal. He has also done ‘shor se shuruaat’ 2016 and ‘peekabo’ 2017 as assistant director.
