Tiku Talsania is a multi-faceted acting personality who acts in Hindi television serials, theaters and movies. Tiku Talsania is mainly seen playing characters with comical touch or comedy shades. He has till date acted in more than 200 films and many television serials. Apart from acting in serials and movies Tiku Talsania travels to Europe, America and in various parts of Asia with his theater troupe who along with Hindi plays also stage plays in Gujarati and Marathi language. Born on June 7, 1954, Tiku Talsania has been born, brought up and educated in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. On personal front, Tiku Talsania is married to Dipti Talsania and the couple is blessed with a daughter Sikha Talsania, who also acts in theaters and serials. Tiku Talsania started his acting career in the year 1986 with Pyar Ke Do Pal. He then went on to appear in Aamir Khan Starrer blockbuster Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin in a comic role. From then on there was no looking back for Tiku Ji. He then went on to appear in many Hindi films of 80’s through 90’s to present day including- Andaaz Apna Apna, Mr. Bechara, Jodi no.1, Ishq, , Devdas, Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobara, etc. Among his television ventures, Tiku Talsania is best remembered for his portrayal of hilarious Prem Kapoor in the hit comedy serial Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai. Among his other popular serials are- Uttaran- a family drama about 2 little girls and their journey in lives. Tiku Talsania played a small, but important character role. Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo- a hilarious comedy television serial that aired on Sab TV, Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai, Ek Se Badhkar Ek, , Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh, etc. all of which were more or less if comedy genre. Tiku Talsania though in an interview once said that he was initially very much apprehensive about doing comic role as he till today considers comedy as one the toughest acting skills an actor can possess and according to him he thinks that he manages to act at around ok level in terms of quality and standard.
