Good looking, light-eyed Pradeep Kharab, was born in Rohtak, Haryana and grew up in Delhi. His first profession was that of a web designer based at Kanpur. After this stint, about a decade ago, Pradeep ventured into the world of modeling. His first break in modeling was at the Lakme India Fashion Week 2002, where he walked the ramp for Shantanu and Nikhil. It was then that he was offered ad campaigns for Lakme, Titan Watches and the like. During this phase he got the opportunity of working with
Aamir Khan
and
Katrina Kaif
in different ads.
From modeling, Pradeep moved to TV serials. He started his TV career with Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where he played the role of Tushar. Thereafter, he bagged the role of Shlok in Kkavyanjali and Shravan in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. On the sets of Kkavyanjali, Pradeep was rumoured to be having an affair with
Amrita Singh
and later with Cezzane Khan. He very outrightly rubbishes such news.
From television, Pradeep Kharab moved on to movies. He did cameos in Fashion and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. His role in
Khoya Khoya Chand
was highly satisfying and also acclaimed. He starred in Ek-The Power Of One. His new release,
Jodi Breakers
, where he plays the role of a boxer, saw him sharing screen space with Madhavan and
Bipasha Basu
. Pradeep is now looking forward to Ghayal Returns, a sequel to Sunny Deol’s Ghayal, in which he is playing a negative role.
Kharab’s philosophy in life is that “The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know”. He considers talent to be more important than good looks and it is talent that makes one go a long way. With such vision, Pradeep has started his own acting school in Delhi for young aspirants. The Indian Academy of Dramatic Arts (IADA) caters to the entire Delhi and NCR region. It offers a complete range of acting courses to cater to the varied requirements of the Indian film and television industry. With these views, Pradeep Kharab is looking forward to a fruitful stint in Bollywood.
