Hans Dev Sharma was a head clerk in Western Railway who had a passion for acting. He used to perform in street plays with his colleagues to create awareness for safety travel in train. Some plays he held on street included the dangers of trespassing a railway track and thus, he involved in safety measures adopted by Railways. Due to his long association with Western Railways, the actor had won the best play award for ‘Muktidham’. Hans Dev was born in a family where his members were rail employees.
During his school days, he was part of cultural groups and even visited Russia as part of his cultural activities in the year 1980. As days passed by, his interest in acting could not resist him making his luck in acting in Mumbai. The actor wanted to shift to Mumbai from Ambala town. But his father advised him to get employed first and thus he landed up in a job in Western Railways. He got the job in Western Railway through sports quota.
As he progressed in life, the actor got chances in serials produced by Balaji Telefilms and even Adhikari Brothers. He had a small role in Hindi television serials such as ‘ Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is like an all time favorite >> Read More... ’, ‘Kahi Kisi Roz’ and ‘ FIR Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. When BBC made a movie on Bombay Railways, he acted in a BBC documentary that had the same name and title.
