Gaurav Nanda is an Indian Actor and a theater trainer. He was born in New Delhi, India and he relocated to his new residence in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed his graduation as an engineer. He did his Bachelors of Technology in Telecommunication from B.M.S College of Engineering at Bangalore. He got selected in his first year of college in an All India Talent Hunt organized by MTV. From there he began towards his first show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi for Balaji Telefilms. After that he started his training as an actor and got involved in theatre. After his graduation, he went to Mumbai and did a course at Whistling Woods International under the famous actor Naseeruddin Shah. He got his training from famous worldwide training places like WWII, NSD, FTII, LAMDA, AAFT etc. He is specialized in various theater techniques such as Michael Chekov of Russia, Lee Strasberg of America, Jacques Lecoq Pedagogy of Paris, Stanislavski of Russia, Uta Hagen of America, and Sanford Meisner of America. He has been actively involved in various theater approaches, styles and techniques for more than 12 years now. He got his break in the movie Sorry Bhai as a student released in 2008 and in the same year he also got the role in a show Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki as Gargacharaya featured by Balaji Telefilms. After that, he worked in many films. He appeared as a guitarist in a song from the movie Aisha in 2010, as a theater director of Adhoore Song in Break ke Baad in 2010 and as a fashion designer in Heroine in 2012. He also worked in many TV serials like Bandini (2010) as Tehsildar, Behenein (2010) as Raman,  Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi (2012) as Amit Kapoor, Amrit Manthan (2012) as Bhupinder Singh (CM) and Pritam Bakshi, and  in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as Rajeev Tandon. He also has his own theater company named as “Actor Studio India”. He organized many workshops like “Mrs. India Worldwide” workshop on emotional freedom and speech, acting workshop at “NBA Group of Institutions”, acting workshop at IIT Guwahati, acting workshop at “Asian Academy of Film & Television”.   Another version of the story... He was born in Delhi, India and took up Telecommunication Engineering at B.M.S. College of Engineering at Bangalore, India. While attending his studies, he luckily got selected in the youth-related show, Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India. Then, he took up professional training and started working on theatre. He was trained by Mr. Lalit Prakash of Asian Academy of Film and Television. Later, he took a course at Whistling Woods International and at that time, he got an offer for his very first appearance on the big screen. If the rumors are to be believed then the actor is all happy and in cloud nine as he got his dream role to act opposite to Big B in the next movie directed by Anurag Kashyap.
