Deep Jaitley is an Indian TV actor. He hails from Delhi and was seen in the Balaji telefilms serial on Star Plus Yeh hai Mohabbatein. He portrayed the role of Prateek, a very positive and simple guy Prateek who runs an event management company and agrees to marry Ishita, the female protagonist even after knowing fully well that she has fertility issues and can never become a mother. He on the other hand suggests a solution that they can adopt a child. At their first meeting itself, he gets immediately connects to Ishita when during their meeting at Ishita's place, Karan, the male protagonist, tries to hit Ishita and Prateek comes in between and holds the hand of Karan to stop him from doing any such thing. Ishita gets attracted towards Prateek immediately and reciprocates his feelings towards her consenting to their relationship much to the happiness of her mother Mrs. Iyer. The serial was telecast on Star Plus since December 2013 and still continuing.

On the other hand, almost at the same time, Deep Jaitley is seen in another serial, Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon-Ek Baar Phir which was a sequel to a serial of the same name on Star Plus only, performing as Abhay Deshmukh who insists on abortion of his wife Jyoti for the third time because the foetus in the womb is a girl child. He even beats his wife to get his foul plans accomplished and his wife Jyoti runs away from the house and he accuses her of extra marital relationships.

Thus Deep was performing simultaneously in two roles in the same channel which were poles apart and was accepted whole heartedly by the audiences shows the great potential of acting in Deep.

Deep is also a Physical fitness trainer apart from actor.
